Earthy Tea Ceremony Objects

That soulful, well-designed space that makes you breathe smoother, gets your aura buzzing, and tingles your creativity. I think it’s safe to say we all have a version of this in our dreams?

A happy place. A calm place. A safe space. To just be.

Everything from the sensorial effects to the curated goods, space has the power to make you feel inspired.

When you’re in a space that’s well designed, you indescribably feel better and there’s an underlying charm. You’re connected to the care and intention of the space. And I’ve been reading some amazing research coming out about space/design/beauty- and how it has positive impacts on your mental wellness, stress response, abundance mindset, and spiritual affinity.

That sacred je ne sais quoi is often what I’m after when curating goods for designing a space. Like hand woven textures, wabi sabi type shapes, and influences body to ground in its behaviour.

After designing 6 contemporary Afro-minimalist cafés in Malawi and the UK, I’ve thought about all things space, feel, atmosphere, accessories, tea, coffee, quality, and intention. Through my experience I’ve found that it’s better to dream and target 2-3 more grand pieces than 100 little pieces. Dream. Be inspired. Get that one piece you can’t get out of your mind. Then give it the s p a c e to be observed and admired.

I’ve put together my dreamy list of Earthy Tea Ceremony Objects to help inspire an intentional space for Healing with Tea.

  4. Rattan Relax Chair - H&M

    £250

Another timeless invest is seating. Rattan is getting it’s time in the sun but for me it’s so classic because when I see vintage rattan I love it more than newly made rattan. I know the style will continue to be appreciated and I think it’s because the rattan is made from plant fibres. Their unique wabi-sabi invites in a sense of peace and connectivity with style.

    £25-50

Fresh flowers invite in fresh prana, fresh air, lightness into your space. Energetically flowers all have different things they assist with, so go with the flowers you are feeling in the moment and/or seasonal ones. And let their beauty give you a message to reflect on. Ask your local florist for an “Ikebana” style bouquet that showcases the quirks and body if unique flowers and leaves- nothing bushy or full.

  9. Blank Pages Notebook - Moleskin

    £ 20.99

The blank smooth page of a moleskin feels like manifestation possibilities to me. The unlined blank page invites me to express with the pen. I write if I want to write, draw if I want to draw, emphasise if I want to emphasise without visual line restrictions. Add the pen and paper to your ceremony time, as we are told in the Quran- it is said the Allah almighty created for things with his hands Adam (as), the Throne, The Garden of Eden, and The Pen. The He said to the rest of creation “Kun” (Be) and it was. (Sahih 756). Let yourself connect with your truth + the pen!

When the space around you reflects who you are, your soul feels at peace. And in that peace is when you’re able to create/express in sync with the divine. Investing your thoughts, energy, and money in your home space gives returns far greater than what we can know.

Oh and a little note- I definitely could have shared a link to a more cost effective option for some of these products but I chose to put the one that inspired me throughout my life. And they say, expose yourself to the things you want to attract, and then you’ll end up being able to manifest it- so let’s dream together, dreaming is free 😉
